Terry’s essence.
A New Yorker for over than 30 years, Terry Singh delight us all with his candid, warm and peaceful personality. The way he speaks, his mindset and body language invite you to sit and listen to all he has to say.
A few years ago, Terry has decided to make a six-months trip to India. For personal-soul searching. He wanted and needed to delve deep into his culture and learn through meditation how to slow down the demanding rush of life. In his quest for a new and meaningful state of awakening, he began resetting all those automatic buttons. Little by little, in this journey, he learn to stop and take some quality time for himself, enjoying the place he lives in, the people he cares about, and, most importantly, letting L-O-V-E take over in every single act of living. There is a saying that when you are ready to go through soul-searching, you are also ready to embrace change.
Deep breath, think deeper acting in consequence.
While he was in India, he adopted a #dhoti as part of his every day clothing, it gave him confort and freedom, so from there, in this new way of conceiving himself, emerges the need to sync his image with his inner self.
Before becoming a fashion designer, Terry’s former profession was in marketing and therefore everything merged together.
Under this new look about himself and his life, with his culture beating loud and understanding the right here, right now, and also his own and human deconstruction, Terry felt an inner fire that took place within himself to create a new version not only of himself but for all the ones who may go through any personal change.
Now is the time to leave behind any old contracted thought to embrace the human liberation of being labeled by what we should be wearing, instead of feeling it. This is how Terry Singh reinvented himself to navigate through emotions and inspiration, giving birth to his well-defined brand.
Create and play, be bold to design.
In this beautiful, grateful, yet uncomfortable way of perceiving this new change in self direction, Terry reinvent the #mensuit and with this new vision he eliminates the pants to allow the skirts freely lead the way to become #thenewsuit.
In June 2019, Terry literally jumps onto the cover of Artscope Magazine and from there he initiates his own creative runaway show till he disembarks at the most prestigious world wide fashion show, NYFW, in 2022. In the same year he was also nominated for the #RaisingStar award by Fashion Group International as designer of the year.
Now we officially can declare that the skirt it’s part of everyone’s closet.
His collection ranges from pleated tailored, sumptuous, chiffons fabrics, different patterns and textures, symmetry and asymmetries, the cuts, the closures and the natural flowing skirts it's a clear response to all the flowing winds of changes.
Last September 2023 I had the honor of being invited to Terry’s presentation at NYFW, where you can interact with the models and his designs. His collection was a lighter and fresh inspiration, focusing on simplicity while leaving space for the dramatic style.
True to himself and his understanding of being in a continuous state of freedom in life and love, Terry delivers through his designs full diversity, freedom, and self-love.

Su esencia.
Terry es un New Yorker desde hace mas de 30 años, quien nos encanta con su cálida personalidad, su forma de hablar, su forma de pensar y todo su lenguaje corporal nos invita a sentarnos y escuchar todo lo que tiene ara contarnos.
Años atrás Terry Singh decide hacer un viaje por seis meses a la India, parte de una búsqueda personal tanto para aprender, como para sumergirse en su cultura de manera intensa a través de las meditaciones y la desconexión con todo lo que era parte de una vida extremadamente demandante, regresa a New York con ese movimiento interno gestionándose.
Parar, respirar profundo, pensar y actuar.
Se dice que cuando uno esta listo para comenzar una búsqueda, también esta listo para abrazar el cambio.
Mientras se encontraba en la India, Terry adoptó el #dhoti como parte de su vestimenta diaria, que le brindó comodidad y libertad.
Una vez de regreso en New York y en ese nuevo redescubrirse, emerge esa necesidad de sincronizar su imagen con su interior.
Antes de proclamarse como diseñador de moda, Terry estaba en el campo del marketing y así es como ambas profesiones se unen.
Bajo esta nueva mirada de sí mismo y su vida, su influencia cultural latiendo fuerte y entendiendo el aquí y el ahora de la deconstrucción propia y humana, nace y le urge el deseo de crear algo que tenga que ver con su actual yo y de ahí deviene en abrazar esa necesidad creativa y compartirla para que otros también la sientan propia y así le da vida a su propia marca de ropa.
Ahora es el momento de dejar atrás todos los pre conceptos de todo lo anterior y abrazar la liberación humana de ser etiquetados por lo que deberíamos vestir en vez de sentir lo que queremos vestir sin etiquetas.
Así es como Terry se reinventa y comienza a navegar entre emociones e inspiración , dandole vida a su BIEN definida marca.
Crear, jugar, atreverse, diseñar.
En esta hermosa incomodidad, reinventa el traje masculino con un condimento diferencial que es la eliminación de los pantalones para darle su lugar a la libertad de usar falda, #thenewsuit llegó para instalarse.
En Junio del 2019, Terry salta directamente a la portada de la revista Artscope y desde ahi da inicio u así propia pasarela creativa hasta que finalmente desembarca en uno de los mas prestigiosos eventos de moda, como lo es NYFW en el año 2022. Ese mismo año es nominado para el #RaisingStar award por el Fashion Group Internacional como diseñador del año.
Podemos decir que oficialmente desembarca en las pasarelas de la Semana de la moda en Nueva York donde la falda es declarada y proclamada para ellos también, considerándose la nueva prenda genderless formando parte del armario de todas las personas.
Las propuestas en sus diseños van desde los plisados, con tablas, con tajos, géneros suntuosos, estampados, ricos en texturas, simetrías y asimetrías, la emoción y la fluidez natural de esta prenda se adhiere con fuerza a estos nuevos tiempos de cambios.
El pasado Septiembre 2023 tuve el honor de ser invitada a su presentación en la NYFW SS23, donde se puede interactuar con los modelos y sus diseños. Su inspiración para su nueva colección fue mas liviana y fresca, haciendo foco en la simplicidad, pero sin perder de vista el estilo dramático.
Fiel a sí mismo y entendiéndose como una persona en constante estado de libertad en el vivir y en el amor, Terry nos hace llegar a través de sus diseños toda la diversidad, la libertad y el amor por uno mismo.
